A new heartwarming video that has captured the hearts of several Nigerians most especially music lovers has surfaced online and by extension generated overwhelming reactions.
In the new clip, famous France midfielder Paul Pogba asked American YouTuber and online streamer Ishowspeed to play Asake’s new hit song off the album “Lungu Boy” to over 2 million people while on live.
Clearly, singer Asake has been on top of his game since he broke into prominence in the Nigerian music industry a few years ago, he shutdown the 20,000-capacity 02 Arena two times within one year as his songs from his 2 previous albums and his newly released third studio album have generated high replay value.
Before the recent kind gesture from Paul Pogba, former world footballer of the year, Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted vibing to Asake’s track “Active” featuring American rapper Travis Scott.
Recently, Barcelona and France defender, Jules Kounde was seen singing so hard to Asake hit song “MMS” featuring award-winning Nigerian singer Wizkid.
However, in a new video, Paul Pogba was seen on a live session with Ishowspeed and the streamer requested for the footballer’s favourite song at the moment so that he could play it.
Responding swiftly, Paul Pogba tells Ishowspeed to play him the song “Worldwide” by YBNL signee Asake which is also off the “Lungu Boy” album just like “Active” and “MMS”.

The streamer went on to play the song and Pogba asked him if he has listen to it before and he reacted by saying “No”.
As they were vibing to the song, Ishowspeed who is already feeling it asked Paul Pogba if the singer is a french and Pogba responded by saying that Asake is from Nigeria.
