There was a palpable panic as fire engulfed a private telecommunications office in Gana Street, Maitama, Abuja.
The inferno which happened on Saturday also razed down a building housing a local eatery in the area.
Meanwhile, another building in Wuse was also reported to have caught fire.

According to TheCable, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) fire service, Asokoro division, confirmed both developments on Saturday.
No casualties were reported, the service said.
Last Saturday, a fire outbreak occurred on a section of the Lagos blue line track opposite the NEPA station, near the Eko bridge in the Apongbon area of Lagos state.
Four persons were killed in a fire outbreak at a lounge and bar on Baale road in the Olodi Apapa area of the state, in October.

The employees of the bar were burnt beyond recognition in the inferno.
In March, some sections of the popular Wuse market in Abuja, the nation’s capital, was gutted by fire, destroying several shops and goods.
