Dr. Lawrence recently shared his observation that married men often maintain discretion when it comes to their spouses.
He posits that husbands who refrain from publicly discussing their wives demonstrate genuine respect and appreciation for them.
According to him, men who truly respect their wives tend to keep conversations about them private, a married man may openly discuss various topics, but his wife remains a sacred, off-limits subject.
Dr. Lawrence noted in his Facebook post, “Married men can discuss all kind of stories. BUT you can’t see married men discussing about their wives. Men respects their wives.”
Many depict his view as a slight jab at women who freely discuss their men and marriages to other women. Their lack of restraint in telling the public about their husband’s shortcomings are seen as an outright disrespect.
A commenter, Angel Nancy however responded “Omo you never sit down with some kind of men wey get wide mouth ”, meaning men are also known to blab to their friends about their wives.
This stand was corroborated by Olamiposi Olajide who says, “Dey play ” revealing that what the former reactor said was actually true.
