Nigerian troops arrest IPOB and ESN founding father Pius Iguh and others

Nigerian troops of Operation Udoka have announced the capture of a ‘founding member’ of the militant wing of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and terrorist commanders in SouthEast Nigeria, claiming a series of successful operations in Orsu, Imo State, and parts of Abia State.

The DHQ made the announcement during the biweekly press briefing on Thursday, disclosing that the arrests were made in Orsu, Imo State, Amaruku, and Arochukwu in Abia State.

The Director of Defence Media Operations, Major Gen Edward Buba, who addressed the press, gave the name of the alleged terrorist as Pius Iguh.
