Nigerian artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, also known as Wizkid, visited the Surulere and Makoko areas of Lagos to distribute N100 million to children for Christmas. Wizkid announced his plans on his Instagram story, stating that he would start in Surulere, where he spent his childhood.
According to Wizkid, the sum of N100M is for the honour of his late mother Mrs Juliana Morayo Balogun who died on August 18th, 2023 in London.
Although the singer did not disclose the specifics of how the funds would be distributed, he has been observed in Surulere and the Makoko area of Lagos State, Nigeria, accompanied by his security personnel at different locations.
Previously, he announced that he would initiate the cash distribution in Surulere today.
Nevertheless, video evidence collected from social media indicates that the singer has visited both Surulere and the Makoko area of Lagos State, Nigeria, today.
